Electrohold will be the main partner of the tenth anniversary edition of “Opera on the Peaks” festival at Belogradchik Rocks.
The event is part of the rich and diverse summer cultural program of Belogradchik Municipality – “Scene on the Peaks“, also supported by Electrohold.
The program will run from June 30 to October 21 and for the first time this year it will unite opera, music, dance, theater, and cinema, featuring leading performers from Bulgaria and abroad. In addition to opera performances, the program includes classical music, folk, pop, and rock concerts, as well as film and theater events.
The Ruse Opera will present six productions:
- 01.08. – Zoro – Musical based on the music of Gipsy Kings and John Cameron, featuring Vlado Zombori;
- 02.08. – Carmina Burana – cantata by Carl Orff;
- 22.08. – La Traviata – Opera by Giuseppe Verdi;
- 23.08. – Il barbiere di Siviglia – Opera by Gioachino Rossini;
- 29.08. – Nabucco – Opera in four acts by Giuseppe Verdi;
- 30.08. – Mars and Venera: Tenor vs. soprano – Gala concert spectacle;
And the others concerts and spectacles:
- 07.08. – Singing artists of Igor Markovski;
- 08.08. – The three tenors – Yuriy Nikolov (Chamber Opera – Blagoevgrad), Mikhail Mihaylov (State Opera – Ruse and Chamber Opera – Blagoevgrad), and Georgi Dinev (State Opera – Stara Zagora), and the opera prima Maria Magdalena;
- 09.08 – North Ensemble;
- 14-15.08. – Svet Radoslavov – the “golden“ violinist of Bulgaria;
- 16.08. – “Tangra” Rock Group;
- 21.08. – Sinfonietta – Vratsa – a concert “With Andre Rieu’s music“;
- 24.08. – Miro;
- 05.09. – Sinfonietta – Vidin, “The Magic Flute’ with the participation of the Men’s Choir of the State Opera – Varna”;
- 06.09. – Shоw „Sound and light“;
- 07.09. – Kapanski ensamble;
- 08.09. – Veselin Marinov (for the first time in Belogradchik);
The opening of the summer cultural festival in Belogradchik is on June 30 with free cinema at the Summer Theater and a screening of 12 Bulgarian films. There are also theatrical performances scheduled at the community center with the participation of Asen Blatechki, Nikolay Urumov, and other leading Bulgarian artists, which will continue until October 21.
the tenth anniversary edition of “Opera on the Peaks” and the festival „Scene on the Peaks” are organized by Belogradchik Municipality with the support of the Ministry of Tourism, the State Opera – Ruse, Electrohold, Eurohold Bulgaria, Euroins, Free Media Group, and media partnership of BNT, BNR, and BTA.
